Paris, Fance

Our trip to Paris, France was full of interesting sights, good food, hot weather, and plenty of hustle-bustle throughout the busy city. From iconic places like Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower, to a maze of antiques in the flea market, we had a good time there.

Jardin D’Acclimatation

We happily discovered that one of the huge city parks had an amusement park for kids.

Bill and Paxton in the back seat

The park had plenty of rides we hadn’t seen before

A virtual reality white water rafting ride
The horse trots up and down as it goes. Think Mary Poppins carousel horses.
The ship spins as it goes back and forth on the track.
Paxton at the top
Bird exhibits
These two were kissing and talking…tres parisian!
Pony rides through the park
Camel rides too

The antique flea market
This man pulled Bill aside in the flea market because of his shirt; the picture is of him (top) is with Fidel Castro when he is 25. He fought with him in the revolution. He was happy to say he helped drive out the rich to Miami.

Seafood platter up top (with snails!), roast duck and pear on bottom, and an “upscale” kids hamburger & pomme frits for Paxton (no bun or condiments 😉

Looking down the stairs from our Paris Airbnb apartment. We were on the 4th floor (which is actually equivalent of the 5th floor in the US because the ground floor is 0 instead of what we consider the 1st floor)…and no elevator. Quite a climb for those who live there.
